PRIMA

PRIMA is by far my most popular shawl design. The first sample I created was knit in Sew Happy Jane’s Bouncy Fingering in Sassy Ballerina and Magic Mohair in Ballerina. When I saw this yarn during the Rose City Yarn Crawl at Knotty Lamb, where both Heather and I were vending, I instantly fell in love and knew I needed to design something with it. The color is amazing and it is perfectly named. I wanted to create a shawl that was light and airy with an ethereal feel. Both yarns are used alternately with sections of garter stitch, stockinette stitch and a few lace sections. PRIMA is a fun knit that keeps your interest. I’ve known a few knitters that have knit PRIMA in multiple colors.
